CONCEPTS

NANDI was the Queen of Zululand between 1778 and 1826.  She is the mother of Shaka Zulu.  She is the symbol of a woman of high esteem and the everlasting symbol of hard work, patience and determination.  She withstood and overcame many obstacles to rise to a position of power in all Zululand.

IMANI (Swahili) means faith.

AZUBUIKE (Swahili): The past is your strength.

And therefore, "Nandi Imani Azubuike: The past is your strength; the future is your destiny."

ABOUT Our Logo

The logo design, called "Zulu" for short, was created as a direct depiction of what the company represents; strong, youthful, charismatic Jamaican women with different skin tones. 

The colours used in the design (green, yellow and blue) represent the elements of our world: land, sun and water, respectively.  When you put all those elements together, you get "Mother Nature." Her elements individually are strong but once combined creates a unique and beautiful networking unit that works to continually support each other and those around. 

With our combined talents we hope to represent the same metaphoric strengths within our company.

Tamiann Johnson aka Nandi

Deemed the face and voice of NIA Concepts, Tamiann can be best described as someone that can "sell" you to yourself.  From the most distinguished individuals to the average person you see everyday, she has the natural gift of conversing with anyone.  With over 5 years in PR, she has effortlessly coined the title, "The Born Publicist".

Chantal Jenoure  aka Azubuike

Tamiann may be considered the voice of NIA Concepts but Chantal takes this company's spoken words and puts them on paper effortlessly.

She is an editor and talented writer, and has scripted countless biographies, press releases and articles.  With her years of writing experience and her ability to spot writing mistakes from a mile away she has acquired the name, "The On Point Scriptist".
